What is the Price of a Child's Health?
Today I was digging for some info on ‘marketing research’ and came across the following paragraph:
Drug companies have always used the excuse, The price of drugs is due to the expense of research and development (R & … D). However, the cost of marketing drugs is twice as much as the cost of R &…Yes, I suppose its OK for Questcor to hold a patent on H. P. Acthar Gel and make a fair profit based upon their research expense. … I question how a drug could suddenly become 15 times more expensive once it has already been on the market. What I see here is monopoly practice….
Because I didn’t want to write a too short blog entry and post it in Advertisement space, I checked some search engines on marketing strategies and found this:
Do you use what you sell to others?
We were talking about how to market his services, and I asked him if he had run his own business through his assessment process. Answer: not yet. … If you consult on strategic planning, use the same techniques to plan your own strategy….For example, I met someone recently who has a series of questions he uses to judge the health of a small business’s marketing efforts. … Based on the answers to those questions, he is able to recommend new strategies and tactics to improve results….
I decided to blog this result under ‘Advertisement space’. Let me know what you think of this…
